Cashu, Badsista, DJ Python, Klein, more added to Unsound 2019 line-up
Unsound have added more artists and speakers to its 2019 edition.
New additions to the programme include DJ Python, Zamilska, Opla, Scratchclart & Lady Lykezand, and 700 Bliss, the collaborative project between DJ Haram and Moor Mother. South London experimental artist Klein will also debut her new Lifetime show.
Brazilian DJs Cashu and Badsista will play b2b at the festival, as well as Bambounou and Lutto Lento who will be playing b2b for the first time.

Houghton Festival has been cancelled due to extreme weather forecast.
The Craig Richards-curated festival was due to run from tonight (8th August) to Monday morning (12th) but, following warnings of issued by the Met Office of 40 MPH winds, thunderstorms and heavy downpours in Norfolk, it has been cancelled.

Spanish promoters L.E.V. has shared the first round of names set to play this year's festival, its first in Madrid.
Specialising in “the most cutting edge side of digital creativity”, L.E.V. festival will run from the 17th to the 20th of October at Centro de Creación Contemporánea Matadero Madrid.

Ultra Miami is to extend its sustainability initiative for next year's festival.
Dedicated to decreasing the environmental impact of the festival, the ‘Mission: Home’ initiative will include a significant decrease in single-use plastics, an enhanced recycling program and a "leave no trace" policy.

Forest fire leads to Fresh Island Festival evacuation in Croatia
Croatia's Fresh Island festival has been evacuated following a fire.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning (16th) Fresh Island festival was evacuated after a fire broke out behind Zrce beach, where the festival was taking place, on the island of Pag.
The main road to Novalja was closed temporarily and re-opened after a few hours to allow the police to escort buses back to resorts.
