Spain's 20-hour desert rave announces more names for 2020 festival
Monegros Desert Festival has revealed more acts performing at this year's event.
The 20-hour desert festival in Fragas, Spain, which returns are a five-year hiatius, will host over 50 names at the event's 2020 comeback.
Alongside previously announced artists such as Amelie Lens, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, DVS1, Solomun, and Tale of Us have now also been confirmed for performances across the festival's eight stages.
Tomorrowland pre-sale tickets go on sale this weekend
The worldwide pre-sale for all tiers of Tomorrowland tickets and Dreamville packages will go on sale this weekend.
On Saturday the 25th January, the pre-sale tickets will be available to purchase from 17:00 CET. The pre-sale includes all tiers of Tomorrowland tickets and Dreamville packages, excluding Global Journey Travel Packages, which went on sale last weekend.
Tale Of Us, Floorplan, Josey Rebelle, more locked for Field Day 2020
Field Day returns to the capital on Saturday 11th July, to its new north London home The Drumsheds.
After taking place over two days in 2019, for 2020 Field Day will be one day only, running from 3pm through to 3am at Meridian Water, next to the Tottenham Marshes.
A live show from Bicep has already been announced to head up the bill, and today Field Day reveal that Floating Points, Ross From Friends, Overmono and Special Request will all play live shows alongside the Belfast duo.
Christoph de Babalon, Afrodeutsche, rRoxymore, more locked for RE-TEXTURED Festival 2020
Christoph de Babalon, Afrodeutsche and rRoxymore are among the names set to play this year's installment of RE-TEXTURED.
Returning for its second annual outing from 2nd April to 5th April, the multi-sensory festival will also host the likes of Vessel & Pedro Maia, Coucou Chloe, Manuel Göttsching and Rødhåd in various venues including Tobacco Dock, Southbank Centre and Oval Space.
Massive Attack, Amelie Lens, Ben UFO, more locked for Primavera Sound 2020
Primavera Sound Barcelona has revealed the full line-up for this year's festival.
Taking place at the Parc del Fòrum, the festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary anniversary from the 3rd to the 7th June.
Among the artists booked to perform are Massive Attack, Lenske boss Amelie Lens, and Ben UFO. Primavera Sound will also welcome SVBKVLT affiliate 33EMYBW, Irish duo Bicep, who perform live, and Blawan.
Flume, Bassnectar, Rezz, more locked for Bonnaroo 2020
Flume, Bassnectar and Rezz are among the names announced to play this year's Bonnaroo.
Returning to Manchester, Tennessee across June 11th-14th, the annual festival has also revealed the likes of Subtronics, Dabin, Wooli and Svdden Death as part of their genre-spanning line-up. Check out the full line-up below.
Two hospitalised after stabbings at Mexico’s Esto Es Tulum festival
Two people have been hospitalised after an incident at Mexico's Esto Es Tulum festival.
The two victims, who were reportedly attacked by local cartel members after being mistaken for drug dealers, were taken to hospital from the ANTS Party at Cenote Casa Tortuga.
One of those attacked has been left in critical condition after recieving stab wounds to the neck, with no update on the other victim at the time of this article.
Coachella announces full line-up for 2020
Coachella has revealed the names playing the festival next year.
The prestigious event, which takes place in Los Angeles, California, runs from the 10th to the 12th April, and again from the 17th to the 19th, with the full line-up featuring over 50 names announced across the two weekends.
Alongside Friday headliners, Rage Against The Machine, who play both weekends, Peggy Gou, Calvin Harris, Lane 8 and TNGHT will perform on Friday the 10th and 17th, as well as Daphni, TOKiMONSTA, IDLES, Jayda G, and Northampton rapper slowthai.
Kappa Futur Festival locks Carl Cox, Diplo, Michael Bibi, more for 2020
Kappa Futur has announced the first names playing at the 2020 edition of the festival.
Taking place against the industrial architecture of Parco Dora in the city of Torino, northern Italy, the festival will welcome over 40,000 people on the 4th & 5th July this year.
Among the first names to be announced are Hot Creations boss Jamie Jones, who'll play b2b with Bronx duo The Martinez Brothers, and Solid Grooves label founders, PAWSA and Michael Bibi.
Tomorrowland extends contract to stay at current home until 2034
Tomorrowland Festival has extended the contract at its current home until 2034.
Announcing the news last Friday (20th), the Belgian festival revealed it will stay in the town of Boom, Belgium at the De Schorre estate, for the next 15 years.
