Drum & Bass
Andy C — legendary DJ and owner of RAM Records — has joined a wealth of top artists and labels in creating a new drum & bass-only Spotify playlist.
Using the tag #iluvdrumandbass, the likes of DJ Fresh, Noisia, Hospital Records stars Fred V & Grafix, Loadstar, High Contrast, and Shogun Audio boss Friction, plus labels such as Viper Recordings, Eatbrain and many more have been promoting the playlist via Twitter to bring together the community and share the music they love.
Andy C has won the Highest Drum & Bass award in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2017 poll, after making a grand re-entry all the way up at No. 77.
The RAM Records boss has consistently graced the poll over the past 15 years — usually being the highest placed d&b jock — but didn't feature last year.
Andy released his first tunes when he was just 16, with ‘Valley Of The Shadows’ (with pal Ant Miles as Origin Unknown) on his own fledgling RAM Records, kick-starting a career that’s now 25 years strong.

Seba delivers his signature, deep take on drum & bass on our latest DJ Mag Weekly Podcast.
Talk about Sweden and d&b and one name comes to mind ahead of all others — Seba. Having opened his career on Good Looking Records back in the late '90s, Sebastian Ahrenberg, has been one of the scene's most consistent and well-respected producers ever since.
Mark System returns to the mighty Exit Records this month with an EP of bruising club cuts, and we've secured rugged slammer 'Obnox' for an exclusive first listen.
First appearing on dBridge's forward-thinking label back in 2010 with his 'Peach Fuzz' 12-inch, System's 2015 album 'Final Approach' solidified his place as one of the most skilled producers both the imprint and the drum & bass genre has to offer.
Having not released on Exit since then, System has come back with a vengeance, dropping four (plus a digital bonus!) stone cold killers via his new 'Break Glass' EP.
Stretch joins the DJ Mag Bunker team on the second episode of their new monthly podcast, talking all things AKO Beatz ahead of the next Bunker live stream party later this month.
As a stalwart of Reinforced Records and head of the AKO Beatz label, Stretch has been responsible for the release of some the most cutting-edge jungle/drum & bass of both the '90s and present day.
On the latest Bunker podcast, you can catch him discussing the past and future of the imprint, alongside fresh music from dBridge, Survival, Fracture and of course AKO Beatz.
