Avicii and NERVO collaboration, ‘Don’t Give Up On Us’, to be released this summer

Update 17/05/2021:  A representative from Avicii's former US PR team has issued a clarification relating to the release of 'Don't Give Up On Us'. They state that the track will not be an Avicii release, that NERVO are not allowed to release any portion of the song/production written by Avicii, and that they are not allowed to use Avicii’s name in the release.

A collaboration between Avicii and Nervo, dating back a decade, is finally getting a release.

Tomorrowland locks full line-up for 2020 festival

Tomorrowland has revealed the full list of acts performing at this year's 2020 Belgium festival.

Among the hundreds of acts performing at the 16th edition of the event, 3 Are Legend will return as headliners, alongside EDM mainstays Afrojack, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Marshmello, Nervo, and Timmy Trumpet.

In terms of techno offerings, Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Adriatique, Carl Cox, Enrico Sangiuliano, Maceo Plex, and Marcel Dettmann will all perform at the festival.

Tomorrowland Radio locks Nervo as first weekly hosts

Tomorrowland Radio has locked NERVO as the first weekly hosts. 

The Australian duo— AKA Olivia and Miriam Nervo— confirmed the news via Twitter, asking fans what they would like to hear played on air ahead of their first show. 

Following the broadcast, which took place yesterday at 7PM Central European Time, the pair— ranked 27th in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs 2018 poll— will hold court each Tuesday. 

Eric Prydz to launch new live show at Tomorrowland 2019, EPIC: Holosphere

Eric Prydz has announced that he will premiere a brand new live show at Tomorrowland 2019, titled EPIC: Holosphere.

The news came as part of the Belgian mega festival announcing its stage hosts for 2019, with others locked including Rob Schulz & Friends, Claptone, Nerve, Don Diablo, and Glitterbox.

Tomorrowland Winter announces first headliners for debut festival

Tomorrowland Winter has revealed the first wave of artists for its debut edition, taking place from 9th to 16th March 2019.

Taking place at the ‘Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski’ winter sports resort in France, the inaugural outing will play host to 30,000 festival-goers under the theme of "The Hymn of the Frozen Lotus".

Cream Ibiza locks Afrojack, Don Diablo, Nervo, more for Hï Ibiza

Cream Ibiza has locked in Afrojack, Don Diablo, Nervo, MK, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and more artists for its weekly Sunday residency this summer at Hï Ibiza, which runs from 24th June through 23rd September.

“We’re not a normal kind of two people coming together.” It’s 2pm on a Tuesday in Brazil at the height of Carnival. Olivia “Liv” NERVO has just woken up to a day’s worth of unread emails, missed text messages and countless social media notifications.

It sounds like 2018 will be the year of NERVO. Are you aiming for world domination this year? 

What is the label’s driving ethos? 
Liv: “We’re doing our very best not to fit in a box. You know what kind of records are going to come out on Revealed. You know what records are going to come out on Protocol. You know what records are going to come out on Musical Freedom. I hope that Got Me Baby! keeps people guessing and listening and intrigued.”

Speaking of Fallon, you just had your first-ever late-night TV performance in America. How’d it go? 
Liv: “We played on X Factor, but we DJed. [On Fallon], we were singing, we had microphones, we had dance moves.” 
Mim: “And we only found out the day before that we weren’t gonna play behind a DJ booth.” 
Liv: “We thought we were DJing. And we get there and they’re like, ‘Nah, we’re all singing.’ And we’re like, ‘Whaaaaat?!’” 

After Miami, you’re hosting your #NERVONation stage at Tomorrowland over the summer. Any special surprises? 
Liv: “We’re really pushing for a live element, because we always love a live element on our shows. We’re really excited to work with the Tomorrowland crew to build the line-up.”

What is the role of men in all this? 
Mim: “Men have to be gentlemen, as always. A good man is a gentleman. The manners make the man. It’s just up to strong women to teach weaker women, and it’s the people to be taught from young ages what respect is, what boundaries are. It’s horrible that a few men in positions of power have muddied the waters, because there are a lot of good men out there as well. So it shouldn’t be a man-hating decade or year. It should be [about] uplifting women.”
