Voting in our annual nightclub poll - Top 100 Clubs, powered by Miller Genuine Draft - is now well and truly open. Since launching the vote last week, thousands of eager clubbers from across the planet have had their say on the world’s greatest places to experience electronic music.
Back in January we took you along to Luminocity - an unforgettable event in the Uruguayan resort of Punta del Este, where Fedde le Grand played a top-secret, unannounced set at a millionaire’s mansion.
2014 has been the biggest ever year for Top 100 Clubs, powered by Miller Genuine Draft. Over 350,000 of your cast your votes from all four corners of the globe!
One of the biggest changes to the poll over the last four years (since it became a public vote) has been the emergence of clubs within Latin America.
The region contains the majority of Central and South America (all those with languages that derive from Latin).
Latin America has traditionally been well represented in the annual Top 100 DJs poll. Until a few years ago artists like Hernan Cattaneo, DJ Vibe and Gui Boratto were mainstays within the list, which is decided by a public vote. However in this EDM era, these DJs have dropped down the rankings, along with the genres they represent.
